Find gaps & contradictions

Adding links is only part of the value. Because Kenaptic understands your whole estate at once, it can spot two kinds of problem that are invisible to any single tool: missing content and conflicting content.

Content Gaps

A content gap is a question your audience clearly has, where your coverage is thin or missing. Kenaptic finds these by looking across your silos — for example, a topic your forum is full of questions about that your documentation barely touches.

On the Content Gaps page you can:

  • See the gaps grouped by topic, so related opportunities sit together.
  • Understand the evidence — why Kenaptic believes this is a gap.
  • Act on it, not just log it. Kenaptic can help you start closing a gap rather than simply handing you a to-do list, and you can mark a gap as resolved once it's covered.

Gaps are a content strategy tool: they tell you what to write next, backed by what your audience is actually asking.

Contradictions

A contradiction is where two of your own pages say different things about the same subject. The classic case: your documentation still describes how something used to work, while a blog post already announced that it changed. Both pages are live, and a reader can easily land on the wrong one.

On the Contradictions page, Kenaptic:

  • Shows you both pages side by side, with the conflicting claims highlighted.
  • Gives a confidence indicator so you can prioritise the clearest conflicts first.
  • Lets you fix it in place. You can edit either page to reconcile the two, and — for sources Kenaptic can write to — send that fix into the same review-and-publish flow as a cross-link. For a source Kenaptic only reads, it flags the conflict so you can resolve it at the source yourself.
  • Lets you set a contradiction aside if it's expected or already being handled, with its own category so nothing is lost.

Contradictions are a trust tool: they catch the moments where your content undermines itself, so you can keep a single, consistent story across every silo.
